Step Inside the Transformation of The Parlor at Grand Hotel ✨

Last season, Grand Hotel unveiled a beautifully reimagined Parlor, thoughtfully refreshed to honor its storied past while embracing a new chapter in its design legacy.

Throughout the winters of 2024 and 2025, Grand Hotel collaborated with Dorothy Draper & Company to transform this beloved space, which was last redesigned in 1976 by Carleton Varney and Dorothy Draper & Company, Inc.

The six-month transformation included the introduction of a new custom paint color, Huron Sunrise, along with new carpeting, wall coverings, furnishings, and carefully selected decorative details. Every element was chosen to create a space that feels both fresh and familiar, elegantly blending tradition with renewal.
