Welcome to The Edgewater. We invite you to get to know us, to explore our website (www.theedgewater.com), to discover what Madison's only AAA Four Diamond Hotel & Spa have to offer, and learn a little about Madison, the great city we call home. The Edgewater is just down the street from the Capitol and its bustling historic square. It’s within walking distance of State Street and its eclectic restaurants and shops. Best of all, we are located next to the University of Wisconsin-Madison and its sports venues, home of the Wisconsin Badgers. Right in the heart of Madison, The Edgewater offers over 200 guest rooms, an outdoor plaza and park, several restaurants and lounges, a luxurious spa, moorings for boats, and extraordinary facilities for meetings, events, and weddings—all right on the shores of Lake Mendota. You’ll learn more about all of this, and see many images of the hotel as you explore our site. Just as important as our amenities and beautiful location, however, is the quality of hospitality we offer at The Edgewater. We are proud to greet our guests with a deep understanding of the importance of their comfort, providing service that is anticipatory, thoughtful and natural, comprehensive but without a hint of stiffness or formality.
