Public Service Announcement

Regarding the annual Easter Egg Hunt in Malad.

We, as Freemasons, practice Faith, Hope and Charity with Charity being the most important. We hold these values to be personal and Charity to be given without attribution.

However....... In this case we feel the need to notify the community so you can be on the lookout when taking the littles out for the hunt.

In addition to candy filled eggs we have also included 7 Silver Eggs (one for each group) that has a voucher for 5 $2 bills, with instructions on how to redeem them. They have no expiration, so if you notice them later that's fine.

We do ask that an adult redeem the voucher.

Thank you for your attention and happy hunting!

Signed,
The Freemasons of Malad

As Masons we are taught to do charitable works, not for recognition, but from our hearts as an act of service to our community.

However, one of the problems with not talking about our service, nobody knows what we do, and that is one reason why Freemasonry has declined in membership over the years. Not everything we do is a secret, in fact only our modes of recognition, and a few particulars related to degree work, are deemed private.

In light of this fact The Lodge would like to thank the public for supporting our fundraising efforts for making this possible.

And a huge thank you to the members of the Lodge for making this possible

On Monday we delivered 3 Full course Thanksgiving Dinners to families in the community who could use the help.

The Freemasons of Malad Lodge #51 A.F.&A.M. of Idaho would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to those who supported our Raffle and Motorcycle Run fundraisers to benefit our community on July 13th.
We would like to give thanks to the many businesses that sold raffle tickets for the rifle raffle within our community and outside of it
To the many businesses that donated prizes for our Ride raffle we extend our appreciation to all of you but unable to list everyone as the support was overwhelming.
Finally, we owe a huge debt of gratitude to all the locations that hosted our stops and especially the American Legion post #65 in Malad for hosting our final stop of the ride, making accommodations to ensure a pleasurable location to raffle the many prizes we had and especially for providing dinner after a long day on the road.
We look forward to next year when we will have our 3rd annual Masonic Benefit Ride to support our community

Signed

There is a lot of great information in this post.

https://www.facebook.com/share/H7AWkkz8edwiMZgx/?mibextid=oFDknk

This post is primarily intended for non-Masons who are interested in Freemasonry.

This is a compilation of messages from several different Freemasons.

Before you ask again and again what is Freemasonry, what are the benefits of membership, how can someone become a Freemason, please read the messages below.....

If you read it and something is not clear, please ask and I will try to answer.

Those of my Freemason brothers who might want to help write their own version on the topic of Freemasonry , please feel free to do so and I will add it to this list. I thank them in advance!

So here is a list of informational messages...

I recommend you to read it and then think carefully about what you have read!

đŸ’„đŸ’„đŸ’„"DON'T JOIN FREEMASONRY...

If you want rest, don't be a Freemason, as the Freemason's work must be continuous. If you want to benefit, do not be a Freemason, as the Freemason must first promote benefits to and for the benefit of others.
If you want peace, don't be a Freemason, as the Freemason must be in constant war against vices.
If you are selfish, don't be a Freemason, because, for a Freemason, sharing must be a habit.
If you only think about yourself, don't be a Freemason, because thinking only about yourself is impossible and the Freemason must think and act for everyone.
If you want to get rich, don't be a Freemason, because a Freemason's wealth is not valued by his assets, but by his attitudes.
If you are arrogant, never be a Freemason, as humility must be a constant virtue, demonstrated at all times.
If you are too religious, do not be a Freemason, as the Freemason must be tolerant of his religious differences.
If you don't believe in God, forget it, there is no way to be a Freemason, because Freemasons do nothing without first invoking Him.
If you like the luxuries that the world provides, don't be a Freemason, as Freemasons must ignore them, since they are temporary.
If you are simply part of something, don't be a Freemason, because a Freemason cannot just be part of it, he must work to make a difference.
If you want to be a Freemason, don't try to be the worst or the best, just be yourself.
If you are arrogant, don't be a Freemason, because contempt is a symptom of evil and evil is the Freemason's main enemy.
If you are negligent, don't be a Freemason, as initiative must be remarkable in a Freemason.
If you are prejudiced, do not be a Freemason, as equality must be a prominent pillar in the life of a Freemason.
But if you want to help improve yourself and help improve the world, then your place is here... đŸ€"

đŸ’„đŸ’„đŸ’„HOW DO I APPLY TO BECOME A FREEMASON?

The process of applying to become a Freemason can be expedited a few different ways. You can contact your local Grand Lodge (the overarching Masonic governing body in your area where you live), find a Masonic lodge in your area that you wish to join, or reach out to a man who is a Freemason and ask for his help. You will submit a petition to a local lodge for membership. Members at the lodge will read your petition and form a small committee to meet with you to determine your qualifications and answer any questions you have regarding Freemasonry.

Simply put...you can not become a Freemason online.

HOW ARE MASON IN THIS GROUP HELPING ME BECOME A MASON?

Freemasons in this group are not helping you become a Mason, they are pointing you in the direction in which you need in order for YOU to find out how to become a Freemason.

I AM READY TO BE A MASON, WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Your readiness to become a Freemason is not a decision a Freemason can make, it is up to you as a man to seek out a Freemason In your area and let them know your intention and requests.

WHO DO I TALK TO ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF FREEMASONRY?

Nobody, Freemasonry offers no personal, political, social or financial gain, and do not claim to be a source of anything mentioned above.

Simply put Freemasonry is a Fraternity of good men, helping each other become better men, not by making each other financially wealthy or socially famous. Freemasonry is a brotherhood of men committed to lives of honor, integrity, and character. The men of Freemasonry are on a journey of self discovery. For hundreds of years, Freemasons, with deep brotherly support, have worked to become the best version of themselves while working to better their communities and our world.

đŸ’„đŸ’„đŸ’„How to know that you are being scammed:

If someone tries to recruit you.

If you are promised money or influence.

If someone tells you to meet online.

If someone claims to be illuminati.

If you can't find them online.

If you are told that you must remain a secret.

đŸ’„đŸ’„đŸ’„What Are The Benefits Of Becoming A Mason?

Freemasonry is like everything in life. You will get out of it what you put into it. It all depends on your perception, attitude, time and interests. Freemasonry is not about “What can I get?”. We are an organization that values and supports charity, compassion, extending a hand to the fallen, mending the broken, healing the sick, defending the defenseless, lifting the weak, personal spiritual growth and every man’s individual quest for a greater understanding and his relationship with “God”. But everyone wants to know “What’s in it for me?” That being said, there many, many benefits to becoming a Mason. To list them all would be difficult as each person gets many different things in many different ways from being a part of the brotherhood. There are so many aspects, clubs, social orders and facets to our organization that the benefits can cover everything from socializing, learning new skills, finding a new job to spiritual growth. Below is a general list of some basic “benefits”:

1- Fellowship & Brotherhood: We are not a bunch of boring guys! We take road trips, go hiking, camping, fishing, play golf, see live music, go out to dinner, rent cabins and a number of other activities. We help one another “get through life”, even if that is just a simple helping hand or someone to talk to.

2-A Place Where Every Man Is Treated As Equal: Freemasonry is a brotherhood that treats all men as equal, regardless of social status, race, religion, political views or financial status. Being a member of the fraternity, you can walk into any lodge in the world and regardless of your social status, economic status, or religious path and be treated with the same respect and equality as everyone else in the lodge.

3- Be A Part Of The Worlds Largest Charitable Organization: By simply being a member here in the United States, you are automatically part of a charity organization that gives 2 Million Dollars Per Day to

4-charity.
Contribute To Charities Just By Being A Member: By joining a lodge and simply paying your yearly dues, even if you rarely come to a meeting, you are contributing part of your membership dues to charities that all Masonic Lodges support.

5-Find Some Local Charity Outlets: Want to put something back into your community and help others but don’t know where to go or how? Masonic Lodges are located in all areas of each city. Each one has local charities that it supports to help build stronger communities through volunteer work, donating food, clothing and other items to those in need. A great outlet to help change the lives of others if you do not know where to start.

6-Find a place in your community that needs help? You can start your OWN charity work or fundraiser through your lodge and instantly have the help and support of your brothers.

7-Networking: The Masonic Fraternity has a diverse membership from every walk of life
. from doctors & lawyers to chefs and parking lot attendants. Not only can you network with the brothers in your lodge, but through any lodge anywhere in the world. It’s a great place to start to meet local business owners and people in your community as well as contacts in other cities and countries.

8 -Political Free Zone: It seems like everywhere we go and look today we are bombarded with politics. Political views are not allowed to be discussed at a Masonic lodge. This provides a beautiful sanctuary where you can relax with your fellow man and not even know or care what someone else’s political view might be, nor be judged for yours.

9-Religious Free Zone: As stated in other parts of this website, Freemasonry is not a religion nor is it based on any one religion. It’s morals and ‘teachings’ are compatible with any religion upholding strong moral values. Religion and religious beliefs are not discussed at lodge meetings or in a lodge. This provides a place where every man is accepted as an equal and is not judged on his personal relationship with “God”.

10-Be A Part Of History: There is so much rich, interesting and detailed history behind the oldest and largest fraternity in the world! By becoming a brother, YOU are a part of that history and it becomes a part of who you are!

11-Go To Any Lodge In The World: Pretty much stated several times above. Moving to another city/state or even country? Be being a member you can instantly have a social/community network & brotherhood by simply finding a lodge.

12- Spirituality: Even though we are not a religious organization, the ancient system of Freemasonry is compatible with any religion and contains esoteric knowledge and spiritual/moral teachings that bring about positive change and encourage every man to develop himself spiritually and morally so that he can have a deeper relationship with himself, his family, his community, his friends and “God” (whatever religious path he follows).

13-Cool Buildings & Architecture: We have built some of the most impressive and beautiful buildings on the planet! Check some out HERE. Take some tours and be able to go to meetings and ceremonies that only Masons can attend!

14- Be A Part Of The Worlds Oldest And Largest Fraternity: See who is and was part of the brotherhood HERE.

15- Help Build A Stronger Community: Want to have a golf tournament for charity? A fundraiser for the local Girls and Boys club? Maybe a dinner or breakfast to raise money for the local soup kitchen? Organize volunteers to help start a community garden? Having a lodge is a great place to work from and get people together for community causes!

16- Add Some Hobbies And Interests: Once you become a Master Mason, there are many other worlds that open up to you in the Masonic structure. There are social groups and outlets for almost every interest through affiliate bodies and social clubs. You could play in the band for the Shriners, join a motorcycle club, chess club, dining club, theology discussion group
. the possibilities are endless. The Scottish Rite Branch even has a ‘University’ so you can continue your studies as well as a Scottish Rite Research Society. We have the need for historians, people that restore old pictures, do research, create costumes, operate sound boards and lighting boards, build stage sets, etc. There IS a place for you! No telling what other interesting things you can discover about yourself and develop through the Masonic structure!

What Freemasonry is NOT:
*A “Cult”.
*A “Cult that you can never leave because you might *reveal a secret”.
*A religion.
*A “Secret Society”.
*Part of the “Mafia”.
*Only a club for the “Powerful And Elite”.
*Part of a “Shadow Government”.
*A church.
*The “Illuminati”.
*Anti-Government.
*Anti-Christian.
*A racist group.
*A group or organization that “Controls The Media”.
*A group or organization that “Controls The World Governments”.
*A group or organization that “Controls The Financial Markets”.
*A political party.
*A membership by “Invite Only”
*A boring social club.
Some of these things may sound absurd, but Freemasonry is misconstrued in many ways.

Freemasonry IS:

*The world’s largest charitable organization.
*The world’s oldest fraternity.
*The world’s largest fraternity.
*A brotherhood that treats all men as equal, regardless of social status, race, religion, political views or financial status.
*Patriotic.
*An organization supporting “Life, Liberty And The Pursuit Of Happiness” for all people of the world.
*An organization with complete religious freedom, spiritual growth and every man’s individual quest for a greater understanding and relationship with “God”.
*An organization with high moral standards.
*An organization that encourages every man to be the best he can be in every aspect of his life.
Does not try to make “Evil” men “Good”, but to make “Good” men “Great”.
*An organization that values and supports charity, compassion, extending a hand to the fallen, mending the broken, healing the sick, defending the defenseless, and lifting the weak.
A fraternity that encourages every Lodge to be involved in and help their local communities for the benefit of everyone.
*A support group.
*A social outlet

FACTS ABOUT FREEMASONRY

* Masonry is a FRATERNITY, not a RELIGION.
* IT is the BIGGEST FRATERNITY in the world, and probably, the OLDEST.
* We BELIEVE in GOD.
* We DO NOT WORSHIP Lucifer, Baal or the devil.
* We DO NOT SPIT on the cross, WALK on the CROSS, or drink from a Skull.
* NO ATHEIST can become a mason.
* We OPEN with utmost care and respect the HOLY BIBLE (for Christians, or the Quran if you're a muslim) before we start a stated meeting and close it after the meeting.
* We PRAY BEFORE and AFTER every IMPORTANT UNDERTAKING of our LODGE.
* We DO NOT discuss POLITICS or RELIGION in an open stated meeting because they are the MOST DIVISIVE SUBJECTS and we DON'T WANT DIVISION in the fraternity as much as possible. Its part of the reason why our craft has endured this long.
* It's all about TRUTH , RELIEF and BROTHERLY LOVE.
* Notable HEROES and NATION- BUILDERS around the world, including a significant number of the HEROES of the AMERICAN REVOLUTION and those of the PHILIPPINE REVOLUTION were MASONS.
* The FIRST PRESIDENT of AMERICA Gen. GEORGE WASHINGTON, was a Mason.
* The FIRST PRESIDENT of the PHILIPPINES, Gen. EMILIO AGUINALDO or G*T. ANDRES BONIFACIO, (whatever thought you may follow) were masons.
* The FOUNDING FATHER of SINGAPORE, Sir STAMFORD RAFFLES, was a mason.
* WINSTON CHURCHILL, Britain's PM during the war was also a mason.
* Several GENERALS during the AMERICAN CIVIL WAR on BOTH SIDES were masons.

* Many SIGNIFICANT PROFESSIONALS, BUSINESS LEADERS and even ACTORS and ARTISTS around the world, BOTH LIVING or DEAD, are/were masons.
* Some SCIENTISTS and ASTRONAUTS are masons including Buzz Aldrin, one of the first two men to land on the moon.
* JOSE RIZAL, ANDRES BONIFACIO, MANUEL QUEZON were masons.
* Most MASONS are CATHOLICS, METHODISTS, CHRISTIANS, and also MUSLIMS.
* There are NO MASONIC LODGES in COMMUNISTS and other UNFRIENDLY COUNTRIES.
*HI**ER hated the masons.
*THE KU KLUX KLAN hates the masons.
*We are NOT a SECRET SOCIETY. Rather, a brotherhood with SECRET CODES. Codes we use to distinguish our own from the pretenders, and NOT TO BRING A NEW WORLD ORDER.

We are fed up of all the lies and conspiracies about our brotherhood. SO IF YOU ARE A BROTHER MASON who encounters these fabrications and misinformation about our beloved fraternity, help us correct them and not dismiss with chuckle just because they're not true.

With God, the Great Architect of the Universe as our witness, and our honour as better men our unbroken bond, we should fight the good fight for the truth. ONE FOR ALL and ALL FOR ONE under THAT ONE RING...The MASONIC RING.

đŸ’„đŸ’„đŸ’„đŸ’„WHY DO I BECOME A MASON?

Masonry is a School of Leaders, the main focus is to make humanity happy through human improvement. Through a philosophical structure of teaching makes a man a better person, dedicated to his family and his work , but, always concerned and focused on the development of the society where he lives.

Brotherhood:
In an increasingly complex world, Masonry satisfies one of the most basic needs of human beings: that of fraternity. This is one of the main reasons for the existence of Masonry since ancient civilizations.

Network of Contacts:
This was one of the main motivators in the rise of Masonry. Everyone needs a professional relationship. Masonry represents a cross-cut of professions of a community, as masonry is present in all commercial and professional branches and mason helps each other as a rule of conduct, that is, it is part of the East The life of the Apple of Life give preference and actively participate from the professional and social growth of their brothers, thus becoming the masonary a unique and differentiated institution.

Personal Growth:
Engagement with Masonry favours personal growth in the field of human relationships.

Leadership Experience - LEADING LEADERS:
Masonry is an organization that brings together successful leaders and people. Performing in charge of masonic positions is synonymous with greater leadership experience. A person learns how to motivate, influence and lead those who are already leaders.

Civic action in the community:
The connection with a Mason Store makes its members better citizens. Typically, Masonry brings together the most active people in a community.

Updated information:
A Mason Store's fortnightly meetings seek to keep the masons updated on what's happening in the community, country, and worldwide. Philosophical topics and varieties are discussed, as well as internal millennial issues about humanity.

đŸ’„đŸ’„đŸ’„I have shared this post several times in the group. I will probably share it quite a few more times.

I have written this post with the intention of helping those who are not Freemasons. It is my intention that they should not fall victim to any fraud. Those of my Brothers who might wish to add to what I have written, please feel free to do so. Thank you in advance!

1. Illuminati does not exist! Everyone forget it! Promises of money, power, fame, brand new cars, big houses, trips abroad. It's all a fraud! It's all about trying to cheat you out of some small or large amount of money. Everyone should think logically and realistically! Do you really, seriously believe that some secret organisation is just, as they say in my country, 'take it under your ass for your two pretty eyes'?

2. Freemasonry. The non-existent illuminati and Freemasonry have nothing to do with each other. Masonic lodges never recruit members. Especially not on Facebook! If you see someone also promising you money, power, fame, a brand new car, a big house, a trip abroad if you join Freemasonry that is also a scam! So if you want to become a mason for these things, you are on the wrong track and this is not your society. These things are worthless to a true Mason. Freemasonry is about self-education, self-cultivation, knowing yourself! Or in other words "school of the human heart".
According to one definition: 'Modern Freemasonry is an order derived from the art of building, whose symbolism is transmitted through initiation ceremonies, and whose cardinal laws are laid down in the so-called Anderson Constitution, published in 1723. From its inception, the Order's aim was to become "a centre of unity and a means of establishing true friendship between persons who without it would have remained at a perpetual distance." In the language of the 21st century, this means to strive for the perfection of man and society. Appreciation and love of our neighbors, respect for different opinions and outlooks on life are, however, achievable goals here and now."

So, if you feel hatred, hate, or look down on, mock anyone because of their different skin colour, religion, origin, sexual orientation, gender, political views, listens to different music or supports a different sports team etc. Then again I can only say that you are on the wrong track and this is not your company!

Freemasonry is not a religion. Some branches require a member to have a belief in God (be it any religion), but do not expect you to be a member of any religious group or to practice any explicit religion! Freemasonry has nothing to do with Lucifer the Satan and 666, white magic or black magic. If you see it anywhere, it must be a fraud.

Freemasonry has female, male and mixed branches. This means that there are lodges where only women or only men can be members and of course there are lodges where both women and men are accepted. And there are lodges and grand lodges that do not recognize them as Freemasons. That is, Freemasonry has different branches and Masonic lodges work according to different rites.

Freemasonry is not a charitable institution, but many lodges do some charitable work. Many Freemasons do some kind of voluntary work for a small or large community. So if you expect to get money, a car, a house, etc., you are wrong.

Digital Freemasonry. As far as I know some masonic lodges have tried in the past to hold meetings online (this is what masons call work). There were lodges that also tried to operate online during the covid epidemic. But I first encountered digital freemasonry itself in the summer of 2022.
My folks (Hungarian Grand Orient) made the following post about it on their page at the time:
"That's where it comes down to. A fictitious organization calling itself Freemasons then advertises online admission for $333. It's worth it to a fool, isn't it? But yes, it's worth it to a fool. Then you can buy digital virtual objects for analog real money. And start your own lodge, MLM with alternatives.
Nice graphics - silly text, far from real Freemasonry. Now with machine mirror translations into Indian, Portuguese, Japanese, Croatian, etc. even the gullible are lured by online fraudsters.
DON'T FALL IN! "
Therefore, all I can say is that although this can also be very tempting for many, everyone should also be careful!

So, if you still want to be a Freemason you should do the following. I would like to emphasize again, Masonic lodges do not recruit members! Especially not on the Internet and not on Facebook. You have to take the first step, that is, you have to apply.
1. If you have a Masonic acquaintance whom you really know and the acquaintance is not from social networking sites, then the first thing you should do is inquire with him.
2. If you don't have such an acquaintance, then in the country where you live and if there is freemasonry, they most likely have an official website. The website will tell you how to contact them.

As they say, "Google search is your friend", so use it! Try the following. Type the following keywords
"Freemason lodges "The name of the country where you live" "

If there is a Masonic lodge in that country, you will have results. Contact options, e-mail, mailing address, and phone number will most likely be provided.

Contact them. Attention! This may take a while. Don't expect them to answer right away. It may take days to weeks. But they will most likely respond.
Attention! If they want to ask you for any upfront fees, it's most likely a scam!

Membership usually takes place as follows: 1. You contact them.
2. You must then officially apply for admission. By letter, e-mail. This is usually a form that you have to fill out. (Where did you go to school, your jobs, were you punished/in prison, what other organizations are you a member of.)
3. If they find this okay, then there are more personal meetings and discussions. Of course you can also ask here. This is usually in a public place, restaurant, bar, cafe, etc.
4. If you're okay here too, then there's a final audition in front of the entire lodge. This is done by blindfolding you, leading you in, sitting you down and asking questions.
5. If you are OK here, you will be officially notified by e-mail or letter that you have been accepted.

But, Freemasonry is not free! So if they are found suitable and inaugurated, then there will be some kind of annual or monthly cost. This is because, for example, the building where the lodge operates must be maintained (electricity, water, gas bills, etc.) and, like all organizations/associations, there may be other costs.
So, Freemasonry comes with costs, obligations and time spent! If you become a member, you have to pay the membership fee, you have to show up at the meetings (work). In addition, it doesn't hurt, and it's even highly recommended that you educate yourself mentally.

My Friend, If you are seeking to join Freemasonry, first, you will need to make contact with your local Lodge to get started. Here are a few ways that you can start your Masonic Journey.
#1) If you know a Mason in your area ask them to help you get started in your local Lodge, they should be happy to talk with you and if you are eligible they will help you get started.
#2) If you do not know a local Mason you can go to your local Lodge in person, at a meeting, and ask to speak to some Brothers there.
#3) If you are in the USA, you can submit a request to join on... www.beafreemason.org They will help you get in contact with a local Lodge.
#4) You can also look for a Lodge this way....Click the link below to see if there is an Official Grand Lodge in your area and contact them through the links provided.... https://www.masonic-lodge-of-education.com/world-grand-lodges.html
#5) If the Grand Lodge or Lodge in your area has a website you should be able to go to it and contact them through their website.
BEWARE of fake organizations claiming to be Masonic. If they are promising things like wealth and power, they are not a real Masonic Lodge/organization. If you do not have a Lodge in your country, I am very sorry but that means there is no way for you to join unless you move to an area where there is a Lodge. To become a Mason the process must be done in person, (you cannot be a Mason online). Please feel free to stay in contact with me and keep me informed of your progress.
