The town of Mandeville, incorporated in 1840, still has the charm that attracted visitors here so long ago. Our temperate climate, lush oak trees draped in Spanish moss and abundant variety of wild life make Mandeville a perfect getaway. MarVilla Guest House is one block off of Lake Pontchartrain and is in walking distance of several fine restaurants, antique shops and boutiques. This small water-oriented community offers lots of water activities like fishing, sailing, and skiing. For cycling, walking, hiking and skating enthusiasts, nearby Tammany Trace, Mandeville Harbor and the shoreline of Lake Pontchartrain offer scenic paths to explore. We do not offer food services but we are conveniently located next door to LaLou.
