On November 7th and 8th in Kentucky, the “ColorFest” at Bernheim Forest and Arboretum brings two days of fall fun surrounded by beautiful autumn colors, giant wooden trolls, and a towering 27-foot Tin Man! Located in Clermont, just south of Louisville, this popular festival celebrates its 30th and final year in 2026! Families can enjoy giant slides, pumpkin rolling, a mud pie kitchen, a corn pit, and plenty of hands-on activities for children. Hayrides return this year, offering another way to enjoy the forest's fall beauty, although spaces are limited. You'll also find food trucks serving tasty treats, arts and crafts vendors, face painting, live performances, and fun science demonstrations. Saturday features an interactive Kentucky history exhibit, while Sunday brings Mexican dance performances and family concerts. Be sure to explore Bernheim's three enormous wooden Forest Giants, take pictures with the Tin Man, and enjoy the colorful scenery throughout the grounds. The festival runs from 10 AM to 4 PM both days, with admission costing $30 per vehicle and activities included!
