We know the eco-domes are special, and that they provide retreat and reflection to many, but did you know they can also offer the perfect space for spiritual healing?

Recently, we piloted a Sound Bowl Session with spiritualist Neven Cole, and well, it didn’t disappoint. ✨ Some felt deep relaxation, some feel out of body, some found energy release… some of us slept (solidly!) We all loved the experience as a new way enjoy the spiritual support that nature provides. 💚

🍂 The Big Show!

There’s a little extra magic in the air when fall arrives in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The trees put on their best colors, the air turns crisp, and evenings are made for cozy campfires, warm blankets, and one more cup of something hot. 🍁☕

Take the scenic back roads, settle into a campsite tucked among the trees, and wake up to a forest painted in brilliant reds, oranges, and golds. Every turn brings a new view, and every evening is an invitation to slow down and soak it all in.

The UP is giving summer a beautiful send-off, and trust us, the big show is worth sticking around for. ❤️🍂

We were so excited to welcome this accomplished group of professional environmental women to Campfire Shores to explore the incredible ecology of the UP on our trails. Scientists, landscape, architects, engineers, nonprofit directors, grant administrators… what a fun group to have here reminding us of the many specials habitats on our property!

With most of the group coming from Indiana, the wetlands scientist in the group was thrilled to put her hand on true Wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens) for the first time in her career. While native and common to MI, it relatively rare and localized in IN. It is found in acidic, soils, pine or oak-heath forests and sandy areas (like our reclaimed dunes here at Campfire Shores). 💚
