Seabird is a ten acre privately owned Island located 1/2 mile offshore Marathon and is available for rent by the week. When you visit Seabird Key, you have the entire island to yourself. With the rental of the Island, you also have access to Seabird's 19' Boston Whaler which is provided for transportation to and from the mainland as well as recreation around the Island. Seabird has a private beach with palm trees, lounge chairs and hammocks, 2 large docks, kayaks, a towing tube, snorkeling gear and many other Island toys to keep you busy. One of the cool features of the Island is the outdoor kitchen which is located near the water. Another awesome feature is the 36' widow's walk on the rooftop of the house. You can enjoy 360 degree ocean views from this unique vantage point overlooking the tropical gardens all around. Seabird has fabulous flowering trees and plants throughout the 10 acres. The sandy paths winding throughout the entire island give you the feeling of being in a true tropical paradise. Arrive by boat on the first Saturday, spend the early week on the water, and have Thanksgiving dinner at the outdoor kitchen on the deck. The 10-acre private island sleeps 8, one group at a time.

Grandma already asked when we're going back.

It usually starts on the dock — a grandparent pointing something out in the water and a kid who can't look away. Seabird Key sleeps 8: two queen bedrooms with private baths, and an upstairs kids' floor with four bunkbeds and its own full bath. Dinner happens at the outdoor kitchen on the deck.
