As a self-proclaimed history enthusiast, we take great interest in learning about the landmarks throughout the Keys. Today, we visited an exceptional restaurant, Brutus Restaurant & Seafood Market, located near Family Tides, where we observed a migrant boat in the parking lot. This sighting piqued our interest, prompting us to investigate the history and costs associated with abandoned boats on the island. On a separate note, the restaurant's calamari appetizers were excellent, the tacos were flavorful, and the shrimp platter was fresh and delicious, and the burger was outstanding.
