Hello, anglers! Tomorrow in Marathon, FL, promises a fantastic day on the water, with yellowtail snapper, snook, and mangrove snapper leading the charge. With light southeast winds (5-10 knots), warm water (~82°F), and an incoming tide at 11:52 AM, chum reefs for yellowtail—use 1/2 oz jigs if winds pick up. For snook, hit backcountry channels with topwater plugs during the 11:30 AM solunar peak, or switch to 30 lb leaders in murky water. Mangrove snapper thrive on structures with 20 lb leaders during slack tide at 1 PM. Recent catches from August 29–30 include limits of yellowtail and mangrove snapper on reefs reported, a 25-lb snook in the backcountry on August 30, and a solid mahi haul offshore near w**d lines on August 29, plus a blackfin tuna catch shared by a local captain.
