Two short trail options from our camp at Cascade River Retreat—clear info for planning a day outdoors.

1) River Lookout Loop — 1.8 miles, easy, 45–60 minutes. Mostly flat with a few roots. Expect wide river overlooks, gravel bars ideal for photos, and easy river access for wading or fishing. Family friendly and rarely crowded in mornings.

2) Old-Growth Ridge Trail — 3.2 miles, moderate, 1.5–2 hours. Steeper sections and roots; reward is towering old-growth firs, filtered light for photos, and quiet forest stretches for solitude. Good for kids used to short climbs.

Both trails offer quick access to North Cascades National Forest and make our retreat an ideal basecamp for hikers and nature lovers. Parking and trailheads are within minutes of camp at 61693 South Cascade Road, Marblemount, WA.
