Oakland Park Conservation Club Hi everyone, we get a lot of messages asking how to join the club. While our club is a working club, we do find time to camp and relax at our campgrounds.

Mission statement: To promote conservation and appreciation for the outdoors by inspiring, educating and enhancing lifelong learning for present and future generations. Hope this clears up some of the details:

Oakland Park Conservation Club is a private organization that is dedicated to educating kids as well as adults about fishing, hunting, habitat, and the enjoyment of the great outdoors. We

are what we consider a “working club” and put on several free events each year for both kids and adults which are staffed by our members. We are always looking for honest, hardworking, dedicated individuals to become members of our private organization. Members are expected to help with club grounds maintenance, kid’s functions, and revenue generating activities. We have approximately 54 campsites which can be rented only by our members, as we do not rent campsites to the public. If you feel that you would be an asset to the Oakland Park Conservation Club and would like to join our club please feel free to send us a message to get further info on the application process and costs associated with membership

Our next catfish tournament is this Saturday, June 13th! We hope to see tons of people there! The tournament is open to the public and hourly payouts are based on attendance levels. ***Make sure to invite others!*** Tournament runs 6pm-midnight. Registration starts at 5pm, $25 for Adults and $15 for youth (under 16). Hourly payouts for the biggest catfish, and payouts for top 3 biggest catfish of the night, along with payout for the smallest catfish of the night. Food is available for purchase from our concession stand. ***Remember to bring cash, as we DO NOT take credit/debt cards or checks as payment for registration or food purchases*** Alcohol is permitted but NOT SOLD. As long as you are courteous and mindful of those around you, and police your area for trash at the end of the night.
