Happy Pride!

There are approximately one million different festivals going on in WNC today (Trails and Trains in Old Fort, Livermush in Marion, Pickles in Asheville), and we're thrilled to be back at one of our favorites: Pride at . We're here until 5 today, so come say hi!

We fly our Pride flag at the b&b every day of the year, but it's so nice to have these big events where we can celebrate community together. Thanks for putting this together!

Upcoming availability!

Here are a few exciting summer dates coming up where rooms are still available. Don't miss your chance for the perfect board game getaway!

June 6th - the Marion Livermush Festival happens from 5-9pm! Our Bird & Herb Suite is still available (sleeps up to 5 guests)

June 21st - Father's Day! This whole weekend is WIDE OPEN, so give dad what he really wants - a chance to play all the board games he can, without having to learn any of the rules!

July 4th - this holiday weekend is FULLY AVAILABLE, so bring up to 10 of your favorite people and watch the fireworks from just down the hill!

Another great community game night in the books! Thanks for coming and having so much fun with us.

Games played: French Toast, Task Team, Chess, Dungeons and Dragons Monopoly, Mysterium, Incan Gold, Set, Hitster, Push, and Ra

Food enjoyed: vegan "egg" salad sandwiches, ham & turkey biscuits, hummus and veg, chips, and pound cake

Records listened to: The Civil Wars & the Lumineers - Daytrotter Sessions, Music to Read James Bond To, and Eisley - The Valley

We have a ton of free community events coming up in June, so keep an eye out for that list soon! In the meantime, plan to join us at the Inn on Tuesday, June 2nd from 6-10pm for our playtesting night, where we gather to try out unpublished games!

Thanks to our most recent guests for another five-star review and this super cute breakfast photo!

"Myself and my 3 friends had an incredible time at the inn! Some of the best breakfasts ive had in a long time. And incredibly thoughtful hosts who prepared mid day treats as well like snickerdoodle cookies and cheddar scones! The place is very clean as well with great amenities like fresh ground coffee, fridges stocked with drinks. Last week, we had guests every day - that's amazing! It doesn't happen often (yet), so it's exciting when we get a lot of reservations in a row.

Our guests come to play games, but they also explore the city of Marion, NC and have really great local experiences. In the last week, our guests enjoyed meals and snacks at:
Bruce's Fabulous Foods
Thai Bliss
Nopales Fresh Mex Express
Countryside Barbeque
Ingenious Coffee Roasters
Reese’s Delectables and Nourishments

They hiked at Catawba Falls and Tom's Creek Falls, and they even stocked up on plants from Painters Greenhouse!

And those are just some of the spots they raved to us about! We love having such great spaces in town that let our guests (and us!) have a great time while in Marion. Keep supporting local businesses - it's where the real magic happens!
