WOW. Y'all showed UP for community game night last night! Our best count was 32 people? Unprecedented, and so much fun!

Games played: Green Team Wins, Kind of a Big Dill, Unstable Unicorns, Merchants of Magic, Dixit, Awkward Family Photos: 80s Edition, Fun Facts, Trio, Just One, Skull, Keepin' It Saxy, Wizard Community College, Spicy, Wine Cellar, Ghost Blitz, and dnup

Food enjoyed: Vegetable curry, butter chicken, rice, naan, salad, coconut pecan bars (thanks Tali!) and pizza (thanks Arietta!)

Records listened to: Mamas and the Papas (self-titled), Electric Light Orchestra - ELO 2, Supremes - A Bit of Liverpool, Regina Spektor - Remember Us to Life

Thank you SO MUCH to everybody who was part of last night. Whether you taught and led games, played games with someone you didn't know, helped us keep everyone fed, helped clean up, or were simply along for the ride, you were a key part of a really magical night. This is what community building is all about!

We'll announce our August events schedule soon, and we'll definitely think about how we can best support our growing game night as we move forward! 💕

We got to run an amazing game jam at Cardboard Quest with Playworks ! We split into small groups and everyone invented three cool and unique game ideas based on different prompts, pieces, and requirements! Seeing everyone's creativity and collaboration was inspiring, and the games seemed like so much fun. Then we all hung out and played more games (of course). It was a blast! Thank you so much to everyone who took part!

"Stop looking and book Tabletop Inn.

We reserved the entire inn for one night to celebrate our son's 14th birthday, and it was one of the most memorable experiences our family has ever had. Instead of everyone staring at their phones, the kids spent hours around the table laughing, learning new games, and simply enjoying being together.

From the moment we booked, Mike and Grace were incredibly accommodating. They were responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely wanted our son's birthday to be special. Every interaction made us feel welcome, and they even accommodated my vegetarian diet at breakfast without making it feel like an inconvenience.

The board game collection is incredible, with something for every age and experience level. Whether you're a dedicated gamer or just looking for a fun weekend with family or friends, you'll find plenty to enjoy.

As a true bed and breakfast, breakfast isn't an afterthought—it's part of the experience. It was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and the perfect start to the morning.

You can tell Mike and Grace take great pride in the inn. Every room and common space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. Each themed room has its own personality, making the stay feel unique rather than cookie-cutter, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable.

The location is another bonus. Downtown Marion is just a couple of minutes away by car, making it easy to spend the day exploring local coffee shops, bookstores, restaurants, breweries, and other small businesses.

As a parent, I especially appreciated having a place where a group of teenagers could safely gather, disconnect from their phones, and simply enjoy being together.
Whether you're planning a birthday celebration, a board game weekend, a family getaway, or a trip with friends, Tabletop Inn is an experience, not just a place to stay. We left already talking about our next visit, and I can't recommend it highly enough."

Every year for our wedding anniversary, we play a series of seven board games to celebrate and to choose the winner of our marriage for the next year. It was especially fun this year because we had b&b guests who are friends of ours here cheering us on!

We always play Castles of Burgundy as well as one new-to-us game, and we end with a dexterity game. The rest of the games are a mix of things we really enjoy. This year's games were:

Hamster Roll
