National Trail Motel is a small motel with 17 rooms located on historic Route 40 in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania. We offer nightly rates or weekly rates. Our rooms offer their own private bath, television, microwave and a small refrigerator. We offer free WiFi and in the summer, access to our private swimming pool. Good afternoon everyone. We have had a lot of people reach out over the past week, and thought we would make a post.

It is with very heavy hearts we let you all know, former owner Wayne E Hager gained his wings on May 4, 2023. Wayne and Bonnie were the previous owners for 30plus years, and he continued running Wayne’s Antiques next door until this past winter.

We want to thank those of you who had reached out, and also those who worked with us and our operating hours through this time.

Saturday November 26 we will be doing a food drive along with our Small Business Saturday Sale!!!

Do you know a senior, a veteran, a single mother or father, or a family struggling this time of year and who may be in need of a little extra help?? We would like to bless someone local with the food we collect during the food drive. When you stop by you can write their name on a piece of paper along with a phone number to be put into the drawing, which will remain anonymous unless the person or family agrees for it to be publicly announced.

If you bring a canned and non-perishable food item, you will receive 50% off an item of your choice, with a limit of 2 items per person at 50% off. (some exclusions apply)
