About Chris’ Cottage:
Chris' Cottage is a well thought out small studio for up to two people. There is one queen bed, one bathroom, and a kitchenette. The Cottage is a comfortable, easy, and fast stop over while cruising I-5 or a great place for short term extended stays like work, visiting family, sightseeing, attending weddings, concerts, and everything else! The Cottage is self check-in with a key lock box and offers the use of bicycles to cruise around nearby down town.
The space:
Chris' Cottage is roughly 300 SF and is well thought out to offer a diverse and serving space, the features are described below.
Kitchenette:
A full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee pot, tea kettle, Toaster, dishes & silverware. You will find instant hot cereals, granola bars, bread items, PB & J, coffee creamer, butter, Coffee, tea, sugar and honey available to curb your hunger.
Bathroom:
The bathroom is small and features a nice shower/tub combo with a tall quality shower head, wand, and soaps. The water pressure is good and gets HOT! The bathroom cabinet offers a selection of items you may have forgotten from toothbrushes to razors, and feminine products and more There is a step up into the bathroom so if you have troubles with steps you should be aware. The vanity is just outside the bathroom and offers a mirror, sink, soap, and hair dryer.
Climate Control:
The heating / AC unit is in the Cottage giving you complete control of your comfortable temperature.
Workspace:
A good desk and the fastest reliable Wi-Fi around make it great for remote work.
Entertainment:
The TV makes it easy to relax with premium Roku channels: Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Disney +, and Apple TV, or just listen to music on the Bluetooth sound bar.
Bed:
The queen size bed has plenty of pillows, a quality mattress, and soft linen so you can get a comfortable good night's rest.
Laundry:
There is access through a locked door to the shared laundry room, where where you may use the washer and dryer. Laundry detergents are available.
Bicycles:
There are two nice beach cruiser style bicycles available for guest use, just inquire with Chris for the bike lock codes.
Outside covered area:
There is a covered patio just out the front door for you to hang out, have drinks, smoke (Cannabis friendly), or just relax.
View:
There are no real views from the Cottage or patio. Just a comfortable space.
About Host Chris:
I've spent many years as a hotel manager in past and am now the host of Chris' Cottage. I have been Airbnb hosting Chris' Cottage since 2019. This has givin me good insight to what a traveler may need while passing through. I offer a comfortable, clean space and keep it stocked with simple necessities one may need while traveling. I live onsite and am generally available through the app promptly. By staying here you are helping to contribute to my household and I thank you. It would be an honor to host you in Chris' Cottage!!
Guest access:
This is a private cottage detached from the main house. The Cottage door is adiacent to a shared patio. Parking is on a gravel pad next to the Cottage and by the access gate. Guests have access through a locked door inside the Corrage to the shared laundry room, where guests may use the washer and dryer.
Other things to note:
Please note that the Cottage is not ADA accessible. The walkway leading to the entrance has uneven surfaces and there is a step up into the bathroom area.
