Have you ever been judged for looking different? Scary? Or like something else?

These are Paper Wasps. They are pollinators and pest control and rarely sting people unless their nest is disturbed or they feel threatened. It took me a bit not to see everything shaped like this as an immediate threat.

It took some intentional education to relax when these fellas drop in. Now I simply ask we respect one another's space.
