I honestly don’t even know where to begin because my heart is so incredibly full right now. ❤️ I am beyond excited, humbled, and so very grateful to announce that The Gingered Baker has been named BAKERY OF THE YEAR! 🧁🎂✨
And tomorrow, Thursday, August 13th, you’ll be able to see The Gingered Baker featured in our local Mena Star newspaper! 📰💕
This recognition means more to me than I could ever put into words. The Gingered Baker has always been so much more than just cakes, cookies, pies, and pastries to me. Every order that leaves my little bakery has hours of planning, baking, decorating, worrying, tweaking, and — most importantly — a whole lot of love poured into it. ❤️
To every single person who took the time to vote for me — THANK YOU. Truly. 🥹💕 You could have scrolled past. You could have forgotten. You could have voted for someone else. But you chose to support my little bakery, and because of all of you, I get to celebrate something I never imagined being able to say:

Thank you to everyone who has shared my posts, tagged friends, recommended me, ordered from me, reordered from me, sent kind messages, left wonderful feedback, encouraged me when I was exhausted, and continued showing up for this small business. Every recommendation and every order has helped build The Gingered Baker into what it is today.
Small businesses don’t grow because of one person. They grow because a community decides to believe in them. And Mena, you have shown me so much love. ❤️
There have been plenty of long days, late nights, early mornings, buttercream disasters, cakes that made me question all of my life choices 😂, and moments when running a small business felt overwhelming — but then something like this happens and reminds me exactly why I love what I do.
Being able to create something beautiful and delicious for all of you is already such a privilege. Being voted Bakery of the Year by the people who support my business makes it that much sweeter. 🥹🎂
