Some jobs take our crews into spaces most homeowners never see.

Today I stopped by a crawl space project in Rhinelander where Tucker and Austin and crew were installing a SilverGlo Crawl Space Insulation System, RimTight joist insulation, CleanSpace V***r Barrier, and SmartJack Structural Support System beneath a homeowner's kitchen.

The crawl space is tight, and as you can see in the photos, it's not exactly a place where most people would choose to spend their day. But Tucker and Austin were all smiles and getting the job done. Their attitude and professionalism are a great example of what makes the Sure-Dry team special.

The work may be happening out of sight, but the results will help create a more stable, energy-efficient, and healthier home for years to come.

When we got to this one, the driveway had settled quite a bit over the years. Several slabs were out of level, creating some pretty significant trip hazards and making the whole driveway look tired.

Here's what we did to fix it:

We used PolyLevel foam to lift and level the settled sections and get everything back where it belonged. The goal is always to fix the problem underneath, not just make it look better on the surface. Then, we sealed all joints and cracks with a long-lasting sealant.

The difference on this one was hard to miss.

Now it's:
✔️ Level
✔️ Safer to walk on
✔️ Better looking
✔️ Ready for years of use

We're always glad when we can help a homeowner avoid tearing out perfectly good concrete. A repair like this is faster, less disruptive, and gets the driveway functioning the way it should again.

Nothing says Wisconsin summer quite like baseball & cheering on the Timber Rattlers ☀

That’s why we’re especially grateful for the opportunity to help keep parts of the stadium safe and looking its best with concrete lifting and crack repair work over the years.

When concrete settles, cracks, or becomes uneven, it’s more than just an appearance issue—it can create tripping hazards and allow water to cause even more damage over time. Our team was able to restore sections of concrete without the disruption and expense of full replacement.

A lot of people know us for fixing wet basements and crawl spaces, but we also spend a lot of time helping homeowners with structural problems like sagging floors and failing supports.

This one was in Kronenwetter, where the homeowner started noticing major wall cracking and the floors in an addition feeling uneven. When we got underneath, it was pretty clear what was going on—the support system in the crawl space had weakened and parts of the addition were starting to settle. Since part of the addition extended beyond the crawl space, that section needed support too.

Here's what we did:

We installed the SmartJack® Structural Support System beneath the crawl space portion of the addition to reinforce the floor system and transfer the weight to more stable soil below. For the section extending beyond the crawl space, we installed helical piers to help stabilize and support the structure from underneath.

Honestly, these are the kinds of jobs we love. Seeing a homeowner go from worrying about what's happening to their home to knowing it's supported the right way makes all the hard work worth it.

If you're seeing worsening cracks or your floors are sagging, bouncy, or starting to feel uneven, it's worth getting them checked out. Small issues underneath rarely stay small for long.
