🍂 A NEW CHAPTER FOR WALNUT COTTAGE 🍂

For the past two years, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming guests to this sweet little cottage in downtown Mentone. And now, Walnut Cottage is beginning a brand-new chapter.
She officially has a new owner, and we’ve already gotten to work giving her a fresh new look while keeping all the charm that makes Walnut Cottage so special.

And y’all… we have PLANS. 😍

Fresh exterior paint. New furniture. New bedding and décor. Granite countertops and a new tile backsplash. A completely refreshed hot tub porch. And one of our favorite changes — Walnut Cottage will now feature a KING bedroom and a QUEEN bedroom, replacing the previous queen-and-two-twin setup. 🙌

There are lots of other thoughtful little details happening throughout the cottage, too, and we can’t wait to show you.
But all the things guests already love about Walnut are staying right where they belong — two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two screened porches, a private hot tub, fenced yard, fire pit, and that fantastic downtown Mentone location where you can walk to Brow Park, shops and restaurants.
And there’s one more BIG change...

🍁 HER FALL CALENDAR IS OPEN! 🍁
Until now, we’ve only been able to accept reservations about 30 days in advance. With the new ownership, Walnut Cottage’s full fall calendar is officially open for booking.
And apparently some of y’all were already waiting. 😂 October is already about 45% booked — before the refresh is even finished and before we’ve taken a single new listing photo.

So if Walnut Cottage has been on your list for a fall getaway to Mentone, I wouldn’t wait too long on this one. 🍂

Over the next several weeks, we’ll be introducing you to the talented artists and makers joining us, sharing our entertainment lineup, and giving you a peek at everything we have planned.
