This is where Lola’s began. 🤍
In 1994, our dad opened these doors with a dream of creating a neighborhood restaurant where people could gather, eat well, and feel at home.
For 32 years, Lola’s has been a huge part of our family and our lives. It has been our home, our father’s legacy, and a place where generations of New Orleanians have gathered around the table.
We never imagined there might come a time when we would have to wonder how much longer we could keep those doors open.
It is incredibly difficult for us to share that Lola’s is going through one of the most challenging times in its history. Rising costs and quieter nights have placed a weight on our small family restaurant that has become increasingly difficult to carry.
We have had painful conversations about the future of Lola’s and what could happen if things do not change.
But this is not goodbye.
We are not ready to give up on Lola’s. We are still here. We are still cooking, still opening our doors, and still doing everything we can to push through. We believe Lola’s can remain part of this neighborhood for years to come, but we cannot do it without our community.
If you have been meaning to visit Lola’s or have been thinking about coming back, now is the time.
Starting Monday, we are introducing our Neighborhood Appreciation Menu as a small thank you to the community that has supported us throughout the years:
$5 margaritas and Palomas
$7 specialty cocktails
Specially priced tapas and more
We are also happy to honor these prices throughout this weekend.
Come have dinner. Bring your friends. Have a drink. Share a meal with us. Whether you have been coming to Lola’s for years or are visiting us for the first time, we would be so grateful to welcome you.
If you cannot make it in right away, sharing this post means more than you know. You can also support Lola’s by purchasing a gift card to enjoy during a future visit:

Every visit, gift card, kind word, and share helps us through this difficult time.
We truly want to keep Lola’s here, serving this neighborhood, caring for our team, and welcoming families around our tables for many more years.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for being part of Lola’s story. We hope to see you soon. 🤍
With love and gratitude,
The Lola’s family
