If you visited Mexico Beach prior to Hurricane Michael, then you most likely had a meal at Toucans. It was THE PLACE to go. Located right on the beach, you could walk out of the restaurant and join in on a game of volleyball, swing high into the sky, or set off on a sandy walk. Our kids loved being able to play until their food arrived. Weekends brought in a DJ and the dancing commenced. So much fun!!

There was absolutely nothing left of this building once Michael passed through. It has taken 8 years to rebound but Toucans is now opening its doors!!

The condo comfortably sleeps 4-8, depending on your sleeping style.

The beach is across the street (one block walking)

Small towns such as Port St Joe, Cape San Blas, and Apalachicola are loaded with restaurants, boutique shopping, antiques and specialty stores.

October is a favorite month to visit Mexico Beach. The temps are comfortable, the crowds are gone, and the restaurants’ wait times are minimal (if any).

And of course, rates are reduced!! 🤑

Uh, WHAT just happened?! Where does the time go??

Attention parents::

I get it. Schedules are busy. But when you look back, you’ll be glad you carved out time for family vacations. There will be 100+ games but only a few beach vacations in comparison.
•
Mexico Beach is so family friendly. The beach is huge. You can make massive sand castles together. There’s room for volleyball nets, corn hole, tents, and chairs.
•
A coffee shop & ice cream shop are both within walking distance from the condo.
•
You can walk/bike ride/roller blade down the sidewalk for 8+ miles.
•
September & October are beautiful months for the beach! 🏝️

I LOVE surprising people! This was one of my favorite surprises ~ a picnic dinner on the beach. They never saw it coming!!

It was the perfect bookend to a day of exploring, laughter and sunshine. ☀️
