On Wednesday, December 14, the Gunsmith Shop at Old Bedford Village was broken into. Sadly, all 6 of our original Bedford County Longrifles were taken from the building. Several members of our staff are willing to contribute to a reward for information leading to an arrest. If you or anyone you know has information that could help locate these suspects, please contact the PA State Police in Bedford at (814) 623-6133. Please share this post to get the word out to as many people as we can!

It is our sincere hope that these wonderful antiques and pieces of our Bedford County heritage will once again be in our possession.

And if this information happens to find the person who committed this act, we implore you to do the right thing. Please either contact us to return the rifles or the state police to turn yourself in.

BIG NEWS
First we would like to thank all of our guests for another terrific season. It is because of you and all of the positive feedback that we have confidence to undertake another expansion.
It has been a long process deciding how to better accommodate our guests while serving the community.
We are excited to announce that we are making Yoder's Guest House handicap accessible including an ADA compliant guest room.
We will also be opening a bakery and lite fare dinning area. Attached is a draft of the main floor layout. It will be very similar to the original 1901 floor plan.
We will also be renovating the 2nd and 3rd floors, adding several more guest rooms with private baths.
We would like thank the Progress Fund for making this possible.
Keep checking in for more updates. It's going to be a busy winter!

Fall is finally here at Rabbit's Run.
Hunters check your calendars. We still have some open weekends.
Grouse and woodcock open next week and pheasant the week after. Millie can't wait.
