Friday morning edit:
The boy's body has been recovered. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.

Our hearts are heavy for the family, friends, and loved ones of the 16 year old boy who tragically drowned while swimming in Gun Lake yesterday.

Our entire community is impacted by this heartbreaking event. We are keeping his family and everyone who loves him in our thoughts and prayers as the search continues.

We pray that he is recovered soon, so his family can bring him home and lay him to rest. We also pray for the search and rescue teams who are working tirelessly during this incredibly difficult time.

⚠️ If you are in the area please note that authorities have all boat launches closed and people are asked to stay off the lake until he is found.⚠️

Our next event is the Chili Cook-off! 🥘

Bring your friends and family! The more the merrier AND the bigger the prize for the winner!

If you know you are bringing a chili, let us know! This helps us so much in organizing how many entries to set up for. However you do not HAVE to enter in advance, if you just show up with an entry that is okay too.

Event open to those camping with us and their guests.
