An emotional day for us, house sale closed today. All the best to the new stewards, we hope they will be as happy in Milan as we were, and are welcomed as warmly (except for the speeding ticket to Patty on Day 1, Lockwood Road, Police lights and neighbors wondering who are these people)?
We indulged in a "jumping off" trip to Key West (photo) prior to taking the plunge in Milan to mull our options regarding the move and new venture. We made the right choice. We hope those sort of travels may be in the near future again now with our new status. We've never shied away from an adventure or opportunity, who knows what is next?
There are far too many to thank personally for your support, Milan is a unique destination, our special small group of friends and supporters know who they are in our hearts and yours (plus those who have curiously not supported us who know who they are also). The extra effort, the help in times of need, the helping hand, there are many (and yet a rare few) who are willing to do absolutely anything to help a friend. We found it here, we will miss Milan terribly, and hopefully to visit frequently.
