MICHELIN Guide 2024 & 2025 After a meticulous restoration in 2006, new owners revived that legacy with a casually elegant and welcoming décor enhanced by a collection of Hudson River School paintings. The chic modern ambiance of Bar Louis features art by Christopher Makos, while the rooms feature natural modern artwork by the Hilton Brothers. The walkable town has boutiques, a craft brewery, day spas, and more in the heart of a classic American small town. Last call for fall.

The Delaware River valley is doing its best work right now. Crisp mornings. Long dinners.

A walk in town that takes twice as long because everything is beautiful.

Hotel Fauchère has been doing autumn since 1852. We know how this ends. Bare branches and regret.

Don't wait for next year. Come now.

You could pay a florist a fortune. Or you could get married in October.

Golden trees overhead. Leaves scattered down the aisle like someone planned it. Every guest in a good seat for the best view nature offers all year.

Outdoor fall weddings at Hotel Fauchère. The décor shows up on its own.

Mae West said more in one sentence than most people say in a lifetime.

Mae West got herself arrested in 1927 for writing a play called S*x. She produced it, starred in it, and refused to apologize for a single word.

Born in Brooklyn in 1893, she worked her way from vaudeville to Hollywood and became one of the highest paid entertainers in America. She wrote her own scripts, controlled her own image, and single-handedly pulled Paramount Pictures back from bankruptcy in the 1930s.

She said what she meant. Every single time.

""When I'm good, I'm very, very good. But when I'm bad, I'm better.""

Then she came to Milford, PA and sat down at Hotel Fauchère. Her portrait has been on our wall ever since.

One block from your room.

Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express is live on stage at the historic Milford Theater this fall. A dead man. A locked door. Eight stab wounds. A train full of suspects going nowhere. Hercule Poirot has one weekend to solve it before someone else ends up dead.

The Milford Theater bar is serving two special cocktails for the run of the show.

-The Poison Apple. An old fashioned with a story.
-The Final Departure. Ch*****ne, wh***ey, and alpine bitters. The last drink of the evening, or the first clue. You decide.

This is the fall evening that plans itself.

Dinner at Bar Louis. Walk one block to the theater. Order something suspicious at the bar. Walk back to the hotel when it is over. Your room is upstairs and the bar stays open.

Add a ticket to your stay and make it a full weekend at Hotel Fauchère.
