It is hard to believe that Memorial Day is a week away. Where has this spring gone? Summer is right around the corner and it sure feels like it today. We are still working on some renovations around the house and are not yet taking reservations. I will be sure to let everyone know when that changes.

Happy Memorial Day

Yesterday my husband asked me when I was going to put the hummingbird feeders out. I had completely forgotten about this probably because April seemed more like winter than spring. Well, they are up today and I cannot wait to see my little friends. I get such a kick out of them darting around, so do our guests. I have had guests ask me how to make the sugar water. I put 1/4 cup sugar into 1 cup boiling water. Stir the sugar until it dissolves and then let it cool. So easy and they love it!
