It has come to our attention that there are some frosty people out there on social media. We have been busy deleting, and reporting fake comments that we are selling shirts featuring The Barn Inn Bed and Breakfast "alumni". The accounts are posting pictures of a shirt that appears to be legitimate. Then they are tagging several people. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!

We are currently only selling t-shirts and sweatshirts in our gift shop, nothing online. DO NOT respond to these comments. The accounts have different names and are commenting on really old posts from years ago. We are trying to keep up with the bogus comments and delete them as we see them.

If you ever have any questions on products that we are legitimately selling, please call the front desk and ask us personally. We would hate for any of our guests to be scammed in an effort to support our small business.

🌟 Our Meet the Staff Series Continues… Meet Beka! 🌟

Don’t let her age fool you! 😉 Beka may be our youngest team member, but she is one HARD worker! 💪❤️

Beka isn’t just busy keeping our rooms sparkling clean; she also heads outside to lend Steve a helping hand! 🌿🚜 And we all know the outdoors is Steve’s happy place, so we’re pretty sure he loves having her out there helping tackle all those important outdoor projects! 😂

From housekeeping and preparing guest packets to placing those special chocolates in your rooms 🍫, and even taking on outdoor tasks, you’ll find Beka helping out just about everywhere! 🧹🌷 She’s always willing to jump in wherever she’s needed, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her can-do attitude and helping hands. ❤️

😂 Now, let’s talk about these pictures… Beka wanted us to just use a picture of the barn for her Meet the Staff feature! 🤣 Her sense of humor is OUTTA this world, and we absolutely love it! So we added the picture of the barn.. AND we settled on these pictures with Beka in them, which we think do a pretty great job of capturing Beka’s fun personality and just how much fun she is to work with! 🥰❤️

If you’ve ever wondered how The Barn Inn keeps everything running smoothly, we have to give a big shoutout to Joy! 💛
Joy is our laundry extraordinaire, organizing queen, and all-around helping hand! 🧺✨ When she’s not keeping up with laundry and making sure all our closets are fully stocked, you’ll find her helping with housekeeping or jumping in wherever she’s needed. She’s always ready to lend a hand, answer questions, and help make sure everything is just right for our guests!
💕 Fun Fact: Joy actually worked for the original owners, Paul and Loretta, and we’re so happy she decided to come back to The Barn Inn!

🌿 This World Mental Health Day, take a little time for YOU. 🌿

Life can get busy. The to-do lists grow, the notifications never seem to stop, and sometimes we forget just how much we need to pause, breathe, and simply be.

Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish. Sometimes, you need to unplug from the everyday stresses, step away from the noise, and give your mind and heart a chance to recharge. ❤️

So why not take a little getaway? Spend some time with the people who make you laugh, your family, your best friends, or the ones who simply make life a little sweeter. Slow down. Soak in some peace and quiet. Share a few good meals, enjoy long conversations, laugh until your sides hurt, and make new memories you’ll hold onto long after you return home.

Sometimes, the best medicine is simply stepping away for a while and remembering what really matters. 🌿

You deserve the rest. You deserve the laughter. You deserve the memories. And most of all, you deserve to take care of YOU.

Hello to all of our guests arriving today! ❤️ We’re so excited to have a full house!

As you’ll notice, we have a little construction happening out front as we make some improvements! Our front entrance is currently a construction zone while our awning gets some much-needed TLC.

For today, please park in the back and come in through the side entrance. If you need a hand carrying your luggage up the stairs, just let us know! We’re more than happy to help make your arrival as easy as possible.

Standing Together, Through Every Fight. 💗

October is often filled with pink ribbons and reminders about breast cancer, but cancer touches so many more lives than we sometimes realize.

Behind every diagnosis is a person. A husband. A wife. A mother. A son. A daughter. A friend. Someone whose world suddenly looks a little different.

Today, we recognize those who are fighting, those who have fought and are now cancer-free, those still carrying the scars of their journey, and those we’ve had to say goodbye to far too soon. We also honor the friends and family who stood beside them through it all.

No one should ever have to walk through cancer alone.

Here at the Barn Inn, we believe community matters. Kindness matters. Showing up for one another matters. Sometimes, support looks like a meal, a prayer, a hug, a phone call, or simply reminding someone they are loved when they can’t find the strength to remind themselves.

One organization offering that kind of hope is Phil's Friends. (https://philsfriends.org/). Founded by Phil, a two-time cancer survivor, this organization provides encouragement and support to people facing cancer through care packages and heartfelt reminders that they are not alone. They welcome a variety of donations, and you can also reach out to request a care package for yourself or someone you love.

If cancer has touched your life, please know you are not alone. And if you’re in a position to help someone else, never underestimate the power of a small act of kindness.

Let’s continue to be a community that reaches out instead of looking away. One that prays for one another, celebrates victories, sits together through the hard times, and remembers those no longer with us.

Because none of us are meant to carry everything alone. We are meant to hold each other up. 💗
