50 years ago, Fredericka Boynton laid the foundation for what would become a place filled with warmth, tradition, and unforgettable memories. Known and loved by so many, Fredericka built the Big Moose Inn with unwavering dedication, a tireless work ethic, and a remarkable gift for making everyone who walked through the door feel like family. Her legacy lives on not only in these walls, but in the countless family dinners, celebrations, and cherished moments shared here over the years.
Today, that legacy continues through her daughter, Laurie Cormier, who has carried on her mother’s vision with the same dedication, heart, and commitment to hospitality that Fredericka embodied.
As we celebrate Mother’s Day, we honor the incredible bond between mothers and daughters, the traditions they create, and the legacies they leave behind.
