Cabin with comforts of home in Central PA's Bald Eagle State Forest on the forested banks of Penn's Creek. April through most of June is Prime Fly Fishing time. Fall is a popular time for everyone, colorful leaves, hunting season. Summer and winter rates are the lowest rates.

Camp Guttalata was pleased to host the Buffalo, NY Project Healing Waters Program (Fly Fishing for our wounded Vets). The Event took place from April 14 through April 18. Some of the attendees and guides stayed for an additional few days to take advantage of the opportunity to fish the incredible WILD Trout Fishery.

Summer kayaking on Penn's. Recent rains have provided Penn's with some great water for kayaking. Forecast calls for more rain next week, August 1 - 4 which should yield good water levels well into August. A great trip can be had floating or battling the the water from Coburn, PA to Camp and then from Camp to Glen Iron, PA. These are both 4 - 6 hour trips non stop and the scenery is spectacular, Pennsylvania wilderness! Penn's is flowing very well and fishing great. The Slate Drakes are on as well as some caddis. It will fish well through the fall. Come enjoy some time at Camp Guttalata.
