You Never Know Who You'll Meet While Door Knocking!

You never know where a day of door knocking will take you or who you might run into along the way!

Our fellow Cwa Milwaukee members from Local 4603 were out knocking on doors in Congressional District 4 when they noticed sheriff's and government vehicles throughout the area. Before they knew it, they found themselves crossing paths with former Vice President Kamala Harris and Congresswoman Gwen S. Moore, who were visiting a neighborhood garden.

Even with a busy schedule, Harris took a moment to stop and snap a few photos with our CWA members, making this an unexpected and memorable moment for our door knockers.

It's a great reminder that when our members get out into the community, engage with their neighbors, and make their voices heard, you never know what the day might bring!

Let’s hope the Brewers sweep the Rays so it doesn’t interfere with the Nettworth Retirement Planning workshop Wednesday night at Silver Spur BBQ.

A Tentative Agreement was reached tonight for our CWA members at the Generac facility in Eagle. Lengthy negotiations between your CWA Bargaining Committee and Generac management began last Thursday. We feel the agreement will have a positive impact over the life of the contract. We will be working towards finalizing contract language changes that were part of the proposals. More information will provided in the next week regarding the details of the Tentative Agreement, and the process for our members to vote!

Thank you!

Ahead of the midterm elections, CWA political activists are fired up and focused on holding as many one-on-one conversations with pro-union voters as possible. In Wisconsin, more than 25 CWAers began knocking on doors last week to spread the word about pro-worker candidates.
