We were recently featured in Midwest Living. The copy has not been updated to reflect the passing of Bob but I appreciate the kind words and the inclusion of our Country Inn in this fine magazine. We are in great company.

We had a wonderful 2025 Crane Migration Season. We had guests from 11 states. Several guests also arranged for viewing Prairie Chickens. The new visitor center at Rowe was very impressive. As always our local people were friendly and helpful. During the snow storm we were lucky to have no problem with power. The guests visited with friends, read, put together puzzles on the porch and had a great time clearing off the sidewalks. They were such good sports. The staff at Rowe Sanctuary was able to reschedule their blind trips. We couldn't do it without the volunteers. Over 1,000,000 Sandhill Cranes joined eagles, ducks and geese, and other birds that traveled north on the central flyway. Mother Nature really puts on an amazing show.

Great Nebraska town. Only about an hour from the Burchell's White Hill Farmhouse Inn and a fun day trip for our guests especially those who have enjoyed Willa Cather's books.

White Hill Cemetery looks beautiful. Thanks to many families who decorated and volunteers especially Deb and Dan Dorn, Robby Nickel, and Patrick Burchell. Caring for an old country cemetery is a joyful responsibility. If you are interested attend the annual meeting at Fort Kearny Historical Park at 6:00 pm tonight. All are welcomed.
