Happy Thanksgiving!

We are so thankful for the beautiful fall we had this year and thankful for all our friends, family and guests that spent time with us in this beautiful canyon. We love and appreciate you all! We so missed having the farmer's market and our fall festival and seeing all of the wonderful people that have supported us. We had some serious competition with, squirrels, birds, bears, deer, fox, etc. Made all of our harvest lacking, except for peppers. May be the year of the peppers!

Willie Rey Huber joined the Montezuma Canyon Ranch & Vineyards family December 2018. He was a ranch hand, ambassador for the vacation rentals, good brother to Vinny, the canyon lover, and my very best friend. With broken hearts we laid him to rest yesterday. I am sharing this because I know how many people loved him. From friends and family, canyon neighbors, cabin guests, and people just stopping at the market, and I know how much he loved everyone. He will forever be missed.

Taking a minute to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and thank all those that helped to make this year special. Those that supported us at the farmers market, and fall festival, the ones that trusted us with their special events, the family and friends that came to visit and lent a helping hand, our supportive neighbors, the great guests that stayed in our rentals, The Ordinary Fellow Winery, Ben Parsons (winemaker extraordinaire), and his extraordinary crew that cared for the vineyards, and last but not least Sheila Honecker! Wow! What an awesome day! We are so thankful for the amazing support at our Fall Festival today. We still have lots of apples and pumpkins but for those of you planning on coming tomorrow the rest of the selection will be limited. We won’t have Chili and Corn Bread, we have limited Apple Cider, and limited baked goods. We just don’t have enough time to make more for tomorrow.
