1. A site that works perfectly at 5 PM can feel completely different an hour or two later.

2. Good coverage is more about system design and placement than simply adding more boxes.

3. A screen can be technically large enough and still be difficult to read in daylight or from the back of the crowd.

4. Power is one of those details that’s much easier to solve during planning than during load-in.

5. FOH, cable paths, equipment, and crew all need space too, not just tables and guests.

6. Weather plans should account for what happens to the production equipment as well as the audience.

“Can we do it?” and “Should we do it?” are two very different questions.

Sometimes the bigger screen isn’t necessary.
Sometimes another fixture won’t improve the look.
Sometimes the timeline just isn’t realistic.

And sometimes there’s a simpler option that will work better and cost less.

The right AV partner isn’t there to say yes to every piece of gear you can fit into the budget. They’re there to help you make the right production decisions.

Because sometimes the best answer really is “no.”
