How was your experience visiting Grand Teton National Park for the first time?

Filled with jaw-dropping nature everywhere you look, animals that will make you stop and stare, and people who will make you want to never leave, Grand Teton National Park is a great place to be.

Please be advised that as a result of the continuing impacts of the COVID-19 global pandemic, the National Park Service has released new guidance for Grand Teton National Park. This includes in-park visitor centers, hotels, restaurants, bars, shops, and other public places. Masks may be removed while eating or drinking.

The National Park Service works with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as state, tribal, and local public health authorities and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to ensure the safety of park visitors, employees, volunteers, and partners. Teton Interagency fire managers elevated the fire danger rating to high for the Bridger-Teton National Forest, Grand Teton National Park, National Elk Refuge, and remaining portions of the Teton Interagency Dispatch area.

A high fire danger rating means fires can start easily and spread quickly. Unattended campfires and brush fires are likely to escape and can become serious and difficult to control. In areas where campfires are allowed, fires should never be unattended and must be completely extinguished. The charred remains of a campfire must be repeatedly doused with water and stirred into the campfire ring for it to be completely extinguished. All embers and logs should be broken up.
