Employee Spotlight: Jessica Young

Meet Jessica Young from our Housekeeping team!

When she’s not helping create a welcoming experience for our guests, Jessica loves spending her free time getting creative — making bracelets and working on diamond art.

And here’s something her coworkers might not know: before joining the hospitality world, Jessica built kitchen cabinets for American Woodmark!

Jessica says one of her favorite parts of coming to work is simply having fun with her coworkers — and we’re so glad she’s part of the team.

Help us give Jessica some well-deserved recognition!

The “BREASTEST” Bra Challenge is on — and your vote can make a difference!

We’re joining local businesses and organizations across Morgantown to raise money for Tonie’s Fund in support of those impacted by breast cancer.

Our creations are officially in the competition, and here’s how it works: every dollar donated counts as a vote. The bra that raises the most money wins bragging rights — but the real win is supporting an incredible cause.

Want to help? Donate via Venmo to and be sure to note which bra you’re voting for in your payment! Scholar Hotel's bras are the Hawaiian Bra and the Duck Bra.
Every dollar counts. Every vote counts. And together, we can help make an impact.
