P DOCK UPDATE — WE’RE GETTING CLOSE! ⚓️

Great news from the marina! P Dock is now in its permanent position!

The electrical work is complete
The receptacles are HOT and the lights are ON
The landing gangplank will be put into position today
We’ll begin relocating lifts into their new positions

And we’re not stopping there! O Dock is scheduled to be shifted into its permanent position on Wednesday.

After a lot of hard work, a lot of bolts, and a whole lot of determination, it sure feels good to see everything coming together.

A huge thank you to BJ, Lee and the entire crew who have kept pushing this project forward. We’re getting closer every day!

A Quick Harbor Navigation Update

We recently saw a Facebook post expressing concern about the condition and positioning of the red and green navigation buoys at the entrance to Mountain Harbor, and we wanted to provide an update—and an important clarification.

These buoys are actually Mountain Harbor’s responsibility, not the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and we want to make sure responsibility is placed where it belongs.

The green buoy was struck by a boat over the weekend, damaging its lights and moving it out of position. It has since been towed to the marina, where our team is working to recable it and replace the damaged lights before returning it to its proper position.

The red buoy was also recently damaged. It has now been returned to its correct position and is awaiting replacement of its light.

We completely understand the concern and frustration. Both buoys are critical to safe navigation into and out of Mountain Harbor, and getting them fully operational and properly positioned is a priority for us.

Our team is working as quickly as possible to complete the necessary repairs, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding.

Most importantly, thank you to those who bring safety concerns like this to our attention. We all share the same goal—keeping our guests, boaters, and Lake Ouachita community safe on the water.
