Congratulations to our General Manager Mark Homuth on the promotion his new role as Area General Manager of the Mount Pleasant Comfort Inn & Suites Hotel and Conference Center and The DoubleTree by Hilton Bay City - Riverfront, effective November 1, 2026! 🙌🥳🎉
With nearly four decades of hospitality experience, Mark brings leadership, industry expertise, and a passion for guest service to this expanded role. Mark’s career in lodging hospitality began with Stouffer Hotels & Resorts 39 years ago. He spent time at the Renaissance Orlando Resort at Sea World, Renaissance Cleveland Hotel, Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, and The Inn at Bay Harbor – A Renaissance Golf Resort during his 27-year career with Marriott International. As Director of Sales for The Inn at Bay Harbor, his responsibilities included the sales and central reservations for Boyne Mountain Resort and Boyne Highlands Resort. He will continue serving as General Manager of the Mount Pleasant Comfort Inn & Suites Hotel and Conference Center while overseeing operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team leadership at The DoubleTree by Hilton Bay City - Riverfront.
Mark has been in the Mount Pleasant hospitality community for 12 years and is actively involved through the Mount Pleasant Area Convention & Visitors Bureau and Rotary Club of Mount Pleasant. We are excited to see his continued impact and success in this new position.
