Check it out!

Detour recommended! A flat ¾-mile west of the KGT on Zion road you'll find sunflowers in bloom on the Norris Farm. Bonus scenery included on the ride is a bridge over the Kokosing River and a pollinator field in bloom.

Do Our Guest Room Doors Open to the Outside?

Yes—they do, and it’s one of the things our guests love most.

At The Mount Vernon Inn, every guest room has its own private exterior entrance. That means:
🌿 Walk straight from your room into our peaceful garden courtyard.
🚗 Park just a short distance from your door to our parking lot for easy loading and unloading.
🔑 Come and go on your own schedule—no long hallways or elevators.
☕ Step outside with your morning coffee or unwind in the evening surrounded by flowers and quiet seating areas.

Many first-time guests ask this question, and the answer is a definite yes. Our layout combines the convenience of direct outdoor access with the charm and comfort of a boutique inn.

Have more questions about staying with us? Ask away—we’re always happy to help.

One of the best parts of this season is watching the gardens come back to life and seeing guests slow down long enough to enjoy them.

Fresh from the oven 🍓

Buttery, flaky pastry wrapped around sweet strawberries—simple, warm, and exactly what a morning should feel like.

If this is how breakfast starts, the rest of the day takes care of itself.

Spring is finally here!

The first crocuses have popped up in the garden, a quiet reminder that warmer days are just around the corner. Soon the trees will leaf out, the trails will fill with cyclists, and the town will come alive again.

If you’re planning a spring or summer getaway, now is a good time to reserve your stay before the season fills.

A peaceful room, a homemade breakfast, and the start of a new season are waiting.
