Only 15 minutes from our house, this is a must-see place for family visiting. It may be a tiny town, but it is a culinary giant. One of our favorite places for walking or just sitting by the slough and enjoying a superb lunch enjoying the view of Padilla Bay. Not to mention, we counted over 18 Bald Eagles in a tree nearby.

Our beautiful town of La Conner, Washington was a featured photograph in the April/May issue of Country Magazine. The Daffodil Festival is in full swing with the Tulip Festival starting up April 1st.

National Geographic has listed the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival as the number 1 "Best Spring Trip of 2016". It beat out places like Italy, Spain, and Chile; Pretty impressive! The weather has been warm and the tulips are coming early. We had a full house all weekend, met some very fascinating people, and made some new friends. We are enjoying being B&B hosts.
