Just checking in! I'm in the midst of life happenings at the moment, from fantastical (faires) to realistic (being a proper adult), but I can't wait to get back to sharing my adventures with you! I have TONS of photos in the wings, to even include a couple faires I've attended this year! To bridge the photo gap, here's a brand-new (to me) hair style that will play a special part in the coming months!

I appreciate your patience while I get my life calmed down again. I do miss seeing you all, and hope to chat with you again soon! The time of the First Harvest has come! Lughnasadh (pronounced LOO-nuh-suh), also known as Lammas or Lúnasa (also the name for the month of August) in modern Irish, marks the arrival of Autumn (or Fall) within the seasonal calendar. It's the time when crops are at their ripest, daylight grows noticeably shorter, and the summer heat does what it can to make itself known before the cold of winter arrives. In ancient Celtic culture, this time of year represented the bearing of the "fruit" from the laying of the Lady by the Green Man back on Beltane. The Green Man has now grown old and bent, preparing to sacrifice himself so the people can have food and resources during the harsh winter to come. This belief is practiced not only through the hurried yet calculated harvesting and storage of the needed crops and cattle, but also through ritualistic dancing, solemn offerings of the first cut crops such as corn, and various meals made with the fresh fruits of harvest.
Within your personal life, you take chances, make investments, all with the goal of bettering your status in life. The time has now come to reap the rewards or failures of your risk-taking! Were some of the investments - and we're not talking cash or crypto - fruitful? Have you noticed a change within you that has brought joy or sorrow? It's not harmful to discuss the bad results with the good, as the bad results can teach us lessons to learn, lessons that can show us what went wrong so we know how to do better next time. Before winter comes and darkness takes precedence, look at where you stand with your mind, body, and soul, and make some adjustments now to help you stay calm, cool, and collected during the cold nights just coming over the horizon. Blessed be!

OOoo, look! Ranger of the Ren has made an appearance with his Renboots!

Worldwide Wednesday! One of our customers was spotted wearing his pair of Strider Buckle boots to a *very* attention-grabbing concert in London over the past weekend, and we can't SING enough about it!
