To our fellow travelers. As lifelong Californians and avid travelers, we have developed a deep appreciation for natural beauty and cultural experiences. After living and working abroad in Taiwan for the last 11 years, we are looking to continue our adventures as we transition back to the United States. Throwing caution to the wind, we have chosen to relocate to the South, and we look forward to exploring all that it has to offer. Following the purchase of our home in Madison Mississippi, we decided to take a quick trip to the Gulf Coast in search of an area that would be comparable to the beaches in California. What we found in Pass Christian far exceeded our expectations. We have been fortunate enough to have visited some incredible beaches around the world, but nothing tops the amazing sugar sand found at the Mississippi gulf coast. The water crashing onto the white sands is amazing and the sand is so soft it actually squeaks when you walk on it. Our beach home is just a short walk from the powdery beach, yet just a short drive to the popular Gulfport and Biloxi areas. This allows you to enjoy a quiet and relaxed beach experience while having the option for a robust and lively atmosphere. Our beautiful home offers everything you could ask for to make lasting memories. Let us share our lifelong dream with you, a spot of paradise on the beach.

Well… this page is changing.

For years, this page was connected to one of my rental properties. I sold that property, but I decided not to get rid of the page.

Instead, I’m going to use it to talk about something I’ve spent more than 25 years doing.

Real estate investing.

I bought my first house at 30 for $110,000.

I wasn’t wealthy. I wasn’t a real estate expert. And I definitely didn’t have some master plan to build a portfolio.

I wanted security.

That one house eventually became 14+ properties over my lifetime—and somewhere along the way, I developed a pretty simple way of deciding which properties are worth the risk and which ones aren’t.

So that’s what this page is becoming.

No Lamborghinis. 😂
No “get rich while you sleep” nonsense.
No pretending real estate doesn’t involve risk.

Just real numbers, real properties, mistakes I’ve made, things I’ve learned, and the strategies I actually use.
