Last touches on offseason improvements. All railings and trim treated for nails and painted. Decks stained (again). Outside kitchen and shutters painted. Doors painted.

Big improvements being made this offseason...

🔘Replacing entire cedar shake roof with IBHS FORTIFIED cedar shake roof
🔘 Replacing all carpets (bedrooms and hallway) with Stanton Yukon Macadamia LVP
🔘 Replacing all interior carpeted stairs with hardwood floors (painted white) with carpet runner
🔘Painted all new upper deck railings, posts, and spindles - white
🔘Washed, scraped and painted interior and exterior of screened porch - white
🔘Scraped and painted front porch railings, posts, and spindles white (areas exposed to wind-blown sand abrasion)
🔘Stained all decks and deck stairs
🔘Power-washed exterior of the house - windows and siding; outside kitchen area; screened porch
🔘Working on the landscaping as the weather warms up - mulching in early May.

Northern Lights from a few days ago. Not visible with naked eye but iPhone camera picked it up. Photos are due north, over the ocean at 4:00 am. Light is from Nags Head. Not filter/adjustments.
