Kids are invited to join the adults on Halloween Island this Saturday afternoon from 1:00-3:00 for our fun annual Downtown Merchants Trick-or-Treating event! Adults, grab your official Halloween Island passport from any of over a dozen uniquely themed Halloween bars throughout Manteo, and wind your way through the Downtown Manteo Social District with an adult beverage in hand as the kids visit all of the eclectic shops & boutiques downtown for a daytime seasonal candy-palooza! 🍭🍫🍬

Halloween Island is an annual town-wide charity bar crawl event brought to you by The Outer Banks Visitors Bureau, presented by Kellogg Supply Company, with 2026 proceeds benefitting the Outer Banks Relief Foundation, Inc.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the cancellation of this year's Outer Banks Seafood Festival. We know how much this event means to our community, and we sincerely appreciate the understanding, patience and support of everyone involved.

A Message from the Outer Banks Seafood Festival Planning Team:

Due to the approaching coastal storm and a statement made by the Dare County Emergency Management Team, we have decided to cancel the 2026 Seafood Festival event. This has been a difficult decision made with the safety of vendors and guests in mind. We encourage you to go visit our restaurant vendors this weekend to show them your support. All ticket sales, vendor and sponsorships will be honored at the 2027 Seafood Event, event date coming soon.
