Dennis Vanterpool learned to cook as a teenager in the Caribbean. What started there became a calling and a connection to food he has carried with him ever since.

At The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee, his story is at the heart of Hook & Harvest, an Immersion he helped create. Guests set out across Lake Oconee at dawn, return with the morning's catch, and dine lakeside on a meal prepared from it just for them.
