Have you been?! 😍🥰

If you haven’t, you absolutely need to! Neighbors Mercantile is one of those places that’s a little bit magical any time of the year, but at Christmastime?! Oh my goodness… it’s just 🤌🎄❤️

And yes… do wander across the street to Main Street Roasters for a cup of coffee and something yummy! ☕️

These two are hands down a couple of our FAVORITE places in downtown Nappanee! We’re pretty lucky to have little gems like these right here in our community. ❤️

Nappanee may have lost power this morning, but these girls certainly didn’t! 💪❤️

With a whole lot of checkouts on the books and a hotel full of dark rooms, this morning’s power outage threw us a bit of a curveball! 😅

No lights. No vacuums. No laundry.

But did that stop our housekeeping crew? Not a chance! 😂

The girls came up with a plan… “If you take us home, we can get our battery-powered lamps!”

So off we went! 🤣

Six battery-powered lamps later, they were back to work, doing everything they could until the electricity came back on!

And THIS is why I love this crew! ❤️

They’re hardworking, resourceful, dependable, and a whole lot of fun! They know how to work hard, laugh together, and make the best of whatever the day throws at them.

Sometimes things don’t go according to plan, but having a team like this sure makes those days a whole lot easier!

Pretty thankful for these girls and the hearts they bring to work every day! ❤️💪

🍎 There’s a lot happening around Nappanee this weekend! 🚜🏈

We’re excited to welcome so many visitors to Countryside Inn… from our Notre Dame game-goers 🏈 to guests here for the tractor show and tractor pulls 🚜 and all of the Massey Ferguson enthusiasts in town! ❤️

And while we’re getting ready for a busy weekend, we had to show off this adorable chalkboard our very own Inez Landis made for the 50th Nappanee Apple Festival! 🍎 She did such a wonderful job, we thought it deserved a spot in the lobby for everyone to enjoy🥰

We love this time of year when our little town gets busy and we get to welcome folks from near and far. If you’re staying with us this weekend, welcome to Nappanee and welcome to Countryside Inn… we’re so happy you’re here! ❤️

Meet “Preacher”… the man responsible for the fresh-baked cookies at Countryside Inn. 🍪❤️

After repeatedly reminding us that “this hotel and that hotel” had cookies waiting for their guests, we finally took the hint. 😂

So Inez baked, Gertie supervised, and Preacher happily handled quality control… We are so blessed with the best guests 🥰
