And so i had a lot going on this weekend. But i did manage to stop by the trail to the "witches hat" on never sink mountain and take a gander at the trail map. it's gona be a little bit of a hike and so i decided to wait for the temps to rise a little ( it was only 47 degrees out.)🥶 before attempting to frolic in the woods...hahaha so i am going to return in mid April.

The "Witch's Hat" on Never Sink Mountain in Reading Pennsylvania.

This Pavilion sits near the foundations of a burned-down hotel and overlooks a mountain with a long history of tragedies (including the nearby "Point Lookout" leaps and various mountain fires), it has become a magnet for paranormal enthusiasts.

Reports:
Hikers have reported hearing disembodied voices—specifically a cry of "Don't do that!"—and seeing shadowy figures among the hotel's old stone foundations.

The structure’s organic, pointed shape and secluded location contribute to its identity as a "hidden gem" of Pennsylvania's haunted lore.😁
