// DESIGNED THIS for the upcoming 2026 HillyHalf Marathon here in Brown County. I try to do something that people will want to wear, and design something that you might find at REI or Patagonia.

There seems to be a general recipe for doing t-shirts for running events: a bad piece of trite clip art with every detail of the race printed as large as possible on the front. Nope. Not this guy.

I pulled out my ink and brush, a pad of rough watercolor paper and did many iterations. I then scanned the art, adjusted a few things in photoshop, then pulled into Adobe Illustrator (the original AI).

Fun project and I’m super happy with the final printed result.
