Heading into November with grateful hearts here at Selah Sanctuary. 🤍 We’re thankful for this little place on the bay, for how well we made it through the storm, and for the chance to share it with others when they needed a place to land.

To everyone who has stayed with us, shared our posts, recommended Selah, or cheered us on, thank you. You’re helping a dream we’ve poured so much love into grow.

We’re looking forward to cooler evenings, holiday gatherings, new guests, and familiar faces. More sunsets, more memories, and more moments to pause and take it all in. That’s what Selah has always been about. 🌅🫶🏻

Our name has felt especially meaningful these past few weeks. 🤍

We are so grateful for how well Selah Sanctuary weathered the hurricane. While we lost trees, our home sustained only minimal damage—a blessing we don’t take lightly, especially knowing how many others are facing so much loss.

Being able to open our doors to some of those displaced by the storm has been an honor. Selah was always meant to be a place to pause, breathe, and find rest. Getting to offer that comfort when it was needed most has meant more than we can say.

We’re thanking God for His protection and keeping our neighbors in our prayers as they rebuild and recover. There is still so much healing ahead, and we’re grateful to be able to offer a little sanctuary along the way. 🌿

Yesterday was one of those days where Navarre Beach was just showing off. 🌊☀️

Crystal-clear water, soft white sand, barely a cloud in the sky… absolute perfection. 💙

September on the Emerald Coast might just be one of our favorite little secrets. The summer crowds start to fade, but the water is still warm and the beach is every bit as beautiful.

And when this is just 5 minutes from Selah Sanctuary… it’s hard to complain about much. 🫶🏻

Come Selah awhile. 🌿

Selah is crushing it. 🙌🏻 We’re not totally booked, though, so there’s still time to grab yourself a little time in paradise. 🌴

Fun fact: after we built our dream home, we actually tried to long-term rent Selah because I just did not have the mental capacity to refurbish another house and teach myself the STR world. 😵‍💫 Turns out, that was a very costly 7-month mistake. 🫠

Fast forward two years and I’m so grateful we changed course. Selah has become something I’m incredibly proud of—and now I can even call going to the beach “work” because technically I’m getting content for Selah. 😂🙌🏻

I mean… somebody has to do it.

Today was one of them. Crystal clear water, sugar-white sand, barely a wave in sight… absolutely perfect.

And this is just 5 minutes from Selah Sanctuary. 🤍

There’s just something about seeing Selah from above. 💙

Redline Productions captured our little slice of paradise with some incredible drone footage, and it gave me a whole new appreciation for this place we love so much. From the bay views to the peaceful surroundings, it’s easy to see why we named it Selah… a place to pause, breathe, and just be.

I had to share this video and photo collage with y’all. We hope every guest finds a little peace here too. 🌅
