A lot can change in 150 years.

When Louisa Loftin and P.A. Smith opened their hotel in 1876, Navasota was a bustling railroad town, cotton warehouses lined the tracks, and travelers arrived by train instead of automobile. What began as a vision built from native Texas limestone became one of the most recognizable landmarks in the Brazos Valley.

As we look toward the future of Navasota and the Brazos Valley, we're honored to continue welcoming visitors through the same limestone walls that have watched history unfold for a century and a half.

Here's to preserving the past, celebrating the present, and embracing whatever the next 150 years may bring.
