The springs are still flowing and Rockin R River Rides will be allowing rafts and tubes from here to Gruene, based on waterflow. Call them for more information at 830-629-9999. One last hoo-rah as the summer ends.

It's going to be a schorcher this weekend, and the springs are still flowing. The current water flow on the Guadalupe is 301 CFS. Come on out for one last hoorah before school starts.

Hello Campers! Just letting everyone know, the water level will be increased to 250CFS for this weekend. Rockin R River Rides has informed me they will open from Huaco Rafts to Gruene during this blessing of water. It will be hot, so come on out and enjoy the flow.

🌊 Remember when tubing below Canyon Lake Dam was an adventure? Keith Khoury has stories to tell.

If you floated the Guadalupe in the 1980s or 1990s, chances are you remember the roar of the water below the dam, climbing on the rocks at the Horseshoe, and spending all day in the river with friends. For many, those weren’t just float trips—they were summer traditions.

This incredible photo was shared by someone who lived those memories firsthand, and it captures a piece of Guadalupe River history.

We are safe, we are open and we expect AM clouds and PM sun for this weekend. And, the springs are still flowing. Just want to let everyone know, due to having well water, when it rains our water is muddy. We recommend for people in RV's to bring water filters (maybe even a couple). We do sell gallons of water in the store, but for showering and washing dishes the filters will help.

UPDATE: Today, July 16, 2026

Our campground is safe, and as we do expect more rain today, it should not affect the weekend. I will post more pictures as necessary. The flood advisory has been changed to Thursday evening at 10 PM. The river flow today is 89 CFS and safe to swim in at CHS. Please stay safe and check the weather.

Hello Camp Huaco friends. We have been getting a lot of rain, however, we are not flooded. Mother nature does her thing, so we will keep you posted on any updates. Stay safe and keep on camping.
