A Note on Renewals!

We are so excited about how many of you are already renewing for another season with us! But we've heard your feedback, and we want to address it head on!

We have heard some concerns and we are ready to talk to you guys - please reach out! We've heard from several of you that the deposit timeline is a real problem, and if that's the case for you but you still want to renew, we do not want that date to be the reason you don't!

Worried about your renewal timeline? Come talk to us, please don't stress in silence - reach out! We'd rather have a real conversation than lose you over a date on a calendar.

Background checks? Let's clear the air. Our renewal paperwork mentioned "background/credit check," and we get why that stung. We don't care about your credit. Your credit score is not being pulled, reviewed, or held against you. It has nothing to do with whether you can camp with us or not.

What we ARE doing, in order to keep our campground safe, is a basic background check. We're not looking for a bad credit score - we're looking for the big stuff, the kind of major red flags that could put you or your fellow campers at risk. Everything else is up to manager discretion, because we know life happens and context matters. Our only goal is making sure this place stays the safe, welcoming home away from home you signed up for!

If you have any concerns making your deposit by September 20th - come talk to us! That goes for the background check too, or honestly, anything else on your mind. We're not just a business collecting paperwork, we're the people you wave to at the office let's figure this out together!
